Robotics Programs and Math Circles
Competition Robotics
Competition Robotics is for students in grades 3 - 7 who would like to test their robotics skills with and against other teams. Vex robotics competitions include both individual and team competitions where teams are encouraged to work together to score points. Students work with robotics teams from other schools, make new friends, build problem solving and collaboration skills and have fun. Students will be engaged in every part of the robotics process including engineering, programing, documenting, strategy, and teamwork.
Monday/Wednesday 3:30 - 5:30 (This program enrolls in August/September for the school year)

Recreational Robotics
Recreational Robotics is for students in grades 2 - 7 who would like to explore building, driving and programming robots. The program utilizes Vex robotics where students make new friends, build problem solving, and collaboration skills and have fun. Students will be engaged in every part of the robotics process including engineering, programing, documenting, strategy, and teamwork.
Robotics Rookies is for our youngest engineers in grades 2 - 3 and will take place on Wednesday afternoons.
Robotics Club is for students with some (experience not required) robotics experience, want to learn more, and are not looking for a competitive atmosphere. It is for engineers in grades 4 - 7 and will be on Tuesday afternoons.

Each course runs for a trimester; September 11 - November 17; January 8 - March 22; April 8 - May 31
The cost is $750 per trimester
Math Circles
Up Academy Math Circle is a math enrichment program for students who love math and learn at a 2nd-7th grade level. Math Circle encourages students to develop their identities as mathematicians and problem solvers through lively investigations of challenging math concepts in a supportive, collaborative, and joyful environment.
Math Circle Grades 4 - 7 will meet every Thursday from 3:30-5:30
Math Circle Grades 2 - 3 will meet every Monday from 3:30 - 5:30
Each course runs for a trimester, September 11 - November 17; January 8 - March 22; April 8 - May 31
The cost is $600 per trimester.
Our Mandarin Partner, Immersive Beijing Learning Foundation, offers Mandarin after school classes five days a week at our Pioneer Ct. campus.
